That the Parliament congratulates the Church of Scotland and Imam Sayed Razawi, who is the director general of the Scottish Ahlul Bayt Society, on Imam Razawi taking up the church's historic invitation to address the Kirk's 2018 General Assembly, which took place in May; believes that this is emblematic of the strengthening of interfaith ties in Scotland between Christian and Muslim people, including those who follow the Shia tradition, and welcomes such moves as helping to open up a new space for dialogue and cooperation regarding the myriad of issues that unite people from all backgrounds across all common human concerns.
